My "Sweet One" turns 6!

As requested by my 6 year old daughter, a 3 tiered zebra striped cake with lime green gerber daisies.

1st Birthday for the twins

Simple 8" round cake with 2 - 6" smash cakes.

Wedding cake with sugared lemons

 4 tiered wedding cake with a "stucco" finished butter cream.  Candied lemon peel and white chocolate curls adorn each tier.  Sugared lemons with white modeling chocolate leaves complete the top.

3 tiered zebra striped cake.  8", 6" and 4" tiers.  Gumpaste Gerber daisies accent each tier.

Luau Bridal Shower

A 2 tiered bridal shower cake with gum paste hibiscus flowers and surf boards.  White chocolate sea shells accent this luau cake.

Simple birthday

Simple 1/4 sheet birthday cake in lime green with brown and green polka dots.

Wedding at Natchez Country Club

A 5 tiered wedding cake.  Each tier consists of 4 1" layers of moist strawberry cake with a fresh strawberries and cream filling.  It is iced in buttercream icing and is finished with a simple dot design and bead boarder.  It is topped with light pink gum paste roses and soft green gum paste leaves.

Wedding at The Factory

Tall center tier wedding cake with fresh roses.  Buttercream icing in a soft buttery yellow and a white fondant bead boarder.

Dots of fun

Four 1" layers of vanilla cake with a chocolate cream filling.  Simple fondant dots in varying shades of brown add the details.

A 2 layered 1/4 sheet cake with fondant dinosaurs and flowers for a very sweet 4 year old.

Sweet 16

10", 8" and 6" tiers of the "Best of Both Worlds" cake.  Buttercream icing with fondant stripes and polka dots.  Fondant bead borders.  The guests at this Sweet 16 party all dressed in black and white.  The birthday girl wore red.  Brilliant!

The Best of Both Worlds

4 layers of cake. Alternating chocolate and vanilla.  Filled with alternating layers of chocolate and white chocolate cream.  Iced with vanilla buttercream.  Decorated with chocolate buttercream scroll work and shell boarder.

It's A Girl!

10" and 6" tiers.  Iced with pink butter cream icing.  Polka dots are both modeling chocolate (brown) and fondant (pink).  The bead boarder is modeling chocolate.  The booties are gum paste.

Girl loves her guinea pig

1/4 sheet cake.  The guinea pig is part modeling chocolate, part fondant.

For a Not-So-Whimpy Kid

My son really wanted cake and cupcakes that represented the "cheese touch".  Not sure what this is?  Ask any boy 6 - 16 :o)  The "cheese" is fondant painted to look moldy - yum!

Graduation

1/4 sheet.  Gumpaste cap and tassle.

Sarah is Six

Gumpaste butterflies on cupcakes accompany the butterfly cake for a very sweet 6 year old.

Cupcake Celebration

A tower of flavors.  Vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.  Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream.  Strawberry cake with cream cheese icing and carrot cake with cream cheese icing.

Soccer

Round cake topped with a half soccer ball cake.  Trimmed with buttercream "grass".

Butterflies for Olivia

Gumpaste butterflies on top of dairy and egg free cupcakes.  The icing is also dairy free "buttercream".  Food allergies will not stop Olivia from celebrating her birthday in style!

She loves horses

1/4 sheet cake.  Iced with chocolate buttercream. Fondant horse and polka dots.  Bead boarder.

Under the Sea

2 layered 1/4 sheet cake.  Buttercream icing.  White chocolate sea shells.  Buttercream piped sea creatures.

He's gonna be a cowboy!

1/2 sheet cake and cupcakes were for a baby shower at church. The boot is covered in modeling chocolate and fondant. 

Share the Road

This cake is a 4 layered half sheet cake.  It has alternating layers of chocolate and vanilla cake (my "Best of Both Worlds" cake).  This was dontated for a benefit event in Franklin to help raise funds for a gentleman who was severly injured when he was hit by a dump truck while riding his bike.  Please: SHARE THE ROAD.

Wedding

2 tiered wedding cake.  9" and 6" tiers.  Bottom tier has cornelli lace.  Bead boarder.  Fondant bows are placed evenly around cake.  Royal icing flowers with painted details finish the cake.

Graduation cake

10" square.  Edible glitter for a little sparkle!
